Members

The IIRB has about 400 members representing 25 beet growing countries. Approximately 30% of members are affiliated to research institutes and universities, 30% to sugar industry, 25% to breeding and seed companies, and 12% to grower's associations.

IIRB Membership

As a member, you are entitled to attend IIRB congresses at a reduced congress fee and have free access to the congress proceedings published on the IIRB Internet site. You may also, with the consent of study group presidents, become member of one of the nine IIRB study groups and profit from this network of researchers and specialists.

To become a member of the IIRB, please fill in the membership application form, which you find as a download file in the right frame. The form should be signed either by three members of the IIRB, or by one member of the IIRB administrative council, supporting your application. Please join your CV and send the documents to the IIRB office. The administrative council of the IIRB, meeting twice per year, will then decide on the appropriateness of your application.

Membership fees amount to 150 € per year for persons from member countries, and 250 € for persons from non-member countries.
